I just feel like talking a bit more about Marcel so… here you go
So far readers probably think Marcel is a huge douche bag, as Joa has said.
When Joa moved to France after his death Marcel and his underlings had to teach him French. Joa wasn’t particularly excited to being teached, but after a while he was able to speak French more or less fluently.
(I on the other hand don’t know anything except some basic words. OTL I googled some French phrases and found this nifty site, that’s where the phrase in the first panel is from.)
